'Feels Like Home' is a wearable structure made with the brief of using no adhesives or staples and trying to work our way around assimilating and combining materials in order to create a sturdy end result. For my piece, I took the beautiful and iconic Indian saree as my inspiration as this 9 yard wonder can be draped on any body without the use of any pins or stitches. Using found cardboard wrapped in aluminum foil waste, held together with jump rings, I came up with this piece- an ode to my home, India.
