BIG LITTLE GIRL is a collection inspired by the aspirations of adulthood and the reflections of reality. Designed for Fall/Winter, the collection aims to be an interplay between craft and technolo- gy while keeping in mind nostalgic elements of my childhood and my experiences of the present.

With motifs collaged and interpreted from craft assignments as an infant to silhouettes inspired by my school uniform showing the urge to break out of the phase of childhood into my envisioned adult life, this collection is an anecdotal and personal record of my experiences.

Drawing from the phenomenon of the passage in time depicted by the changing of seasons, I wanted the Sun to be the metaphorical element of this collection to effectively show the past, the aspiration and the present.

Keeping in mind the latter, this collection integrates Cyanotype printing as a form of art and Thermochromic Dyeing as a form of technology.
